Poster Presentation at Taylor Geospatial Geo-Resolution 2024

MAVI Lab researchers presented “Deep Learning-Based Segmentation of Buildings and Road Networks in Complex Urban Scenes” at Taylor Geospatial Geo-Resolution 2024 in St. Louis. During the September poster session, the team shared new deep-learning techniques for extracting building footprints and connected road networks from challenging urban imagery. The work sparked insightful conversations on improving mapping accuracy in dense cityscapes. Great job representing the lab!
